An Analog-Way Ascender Technician is responsible for operating and managing Analog-Way Ascender Systems, a type of multi-screen seamless switcher and scaler, for live events, conferences, and productions. They are trained in professional etiquette and general on-site procedures. This role involves ensuring the seamless integration of video and multimedia content across multiple screens and displays during events.

ANALOG WAY NEXTAGE TECHNICIAN

An Analog Way NeXtage Op is responsible for operating and managing the Analog Way NeXtage Systems, which are advanced seamless switchers designed for high-end live presentations, events, and broadcasts. This role requires a deep understanding of video signal processing, scaling, and switching to ensure smooth and synchronized content display across various formats and screens. Trained in professional site protocols and etiquette, the NeXtage Op works closely with event coordinators and technical teams to facilitate dynamic visual experiences, troubleshooting any issues to maintain continuity throughout productions.

BARCO E2 TECHNICIAN

An Advance Video Level technician trained in professional etiquette and general on-site procedures. Barco E-2 Technician is responsible for operating and managing the Barco E-2, a powerful video processing system, for live events, conferences, and productions. They are trained in professional etiquette and general on-site procedures. This role involves ensuring the seamless integration and manipulation of high-quality video content across multiple screens and displays. Proficiency in setting up 4K inputs and outputs is essential for catering to the requirements of any show, enabling seamless integration with other systems. This includes configuring mixers, single layers, picture-in-picture (PIP), keys, and varying layer sizes to compose a unified image on the screen. Moreover, technicians must possess the ability to calculate on-screen resolution sizes accurately.

PROJECTIONIST

Projectionists are advanced Video Technicians trained in professional etiquette and general on-site procedures. Their duties include, but are not limited to; video projection, placement and projection displays, projection system display design, 3D projection mapping, mapping tracking, architectural projection mapping, pixel mapping, blending, calibrating, color matching, aligning lenses, adjusting focus and zoom, ensuring correct color and black levels, double stacking and converging, cornerstone/keystone, calculating throw distance, troubleshooting and familiarity with networking and data management, including setting up and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks. These technicians understand collaboration with Department Heads to fulfill all projection needs is essential. With effective team management skills these technicians delegate tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
