For your breakout sessions, our Breakout Technicians provide essential support, handling the technical aspects of smaller, focused meetings, while our Breakout Managers oversee these sessions, ensuring smooth transitions and a consistent experience for all participants.

Digital communication is vital in today's event landscape, and our Digital Signage Technicians ensure that all displays, from wayfinding signs to promotional screens, are correctly installed and maintained, providing clear and effective communication across the venue.

Behind every confident presenter is a well-prepared support team. Our Speaker Ready Room Technicians ensure that speakers have everything they need, from finalizing presentations to testing equipment, so they can deliver their messages with confidence. Additionally, our Audience Response Systems Technicians are there to set up and manage interactive tools, allowing for real-time audience engagement and feedback, enhancing the overall event experience.

HOTEL & CONVENTION

EXPO HALL TECHNICIAN

Possesses all General Audio Visual Technician and at least 6 months of AV event industry experience. These technicians are trained in professional etiquette, client interaction, basic tool knowledge, and general on-site procedures. Expected tasks are, but not limited to: Reading expo hall & conference floor plots and diagrams, working with different event teams, possession of tools: (C-wrench, Allen-keys, measuring tape, & sharpie), mounting monitors, running power, uploading content to monitors & displays, running video signal, setting up small sound systems, pipe & drape and taping cables.

BREAKOUT TECHNICIAN

Possesses over 2+ years of AV event industry experience and has advanced level of AV knowledge and training. Trained in professional etiquette and general on-site procedures. Expected tasks are, but not limited to: setting up and operating audiovisual equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, moderate/ advanced computer knowledge & experience, moderate/ advance presentation software knowledge & experience (PowerPoint & Keynote), Audience Response System knowledge & experience,and basic/ moderate web streaming knowledge & experience. These technicians are also V2 and A2 level in each respective discipline. Good at following directions and can work independently as needed.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE

Possesses all Expo Hall Tech and V2 attributes and at least 6 months of AV event industry experience. These technicians are trained in professional etiquette, client interaction, basic tool knowledge, and general on-site procedures. Expected tasks are, but not limited to: Reading expo hall & conference floor plots and diagrams, working with different event teams, possession of tools: (C-wrench, Allen-keys, measuring tape, & sharpie), mounting monitors, running power, uploading content to monitors & displays, running video signal, networking various displays and a basic understanding of Mac & PC operating systems.

AUDIENCE RESPONSE SYSTEMS

An Audience Response Systems Tech is responsible for the setup, operation, and management of audience response systems during live events, meetings, and conferences. This role involves configuring handheld devices, mobile apps, or other interactive technologies that allow audience members to participate in real-time polling, surveys, and Q&A sessions. The technician ensures the reliability and functionality of the system, providing immediate support to resolve any technical issues. Additionally, they analyze and report response data, assisting event organizers in engaging and understanding their audience, thereby enhancing the overall event experience.

SPEAKER READY ROOM

A Speaker-Ready Room Technician plays a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to speakers, presenters, and performers at conferences, seminars, and events. This position may include some, but not all, of the attributes of a IT Technician, and a Graphics Operator. They are trained in professional etiquette and general on-site procedures. This position also involves setting up and managing speaker-ready rooms to ensure seamless presentations and rehearsals.

BREAKOUT MANAGER

Possesses all Breakout Technician attributes and over 2 years of AV event industry experience, with an advanced level of AV event industry knowledge and training. These technicians are trained in professional etiquette, client interaction, team leadership, and general on-site procedures. Expected tasks are, but not limited to: Managing breakout rooms', technicians, equipment & schedules, keeping track of room set/ strike progress, overseeing operators/ floaters breaks & lunches and verifying breakout technician attendance. Excellent at receiving information and expected to work independently after receiving the Scope of Work for the event.
