The Equipment Pick-up/Delivery specialists handle the logistics, ensuring that all necessary gear arrives on time and in perfect condition, ready for setup.

The General Audio Visual Technicians are the versatile experts who can adapt to a variety of tasks, providing essential support across the board. Our Loader/Pushers handle the heavy lifting, expertly managing the transportation of equipment and materials to and from the venue.

For more specialized needs, our Scenic/Carpentry professionals bring your creative visions to life, constructing and assembling stage sets that enhance the overall event experience. And our Stagehands are the unsung heroes, working behind the scenes to ensure everything from setup to teardown happens flawlessly.

UTILITY

Crew Lead

Recommended for crews of 5 or more techs. Trained in professional etiquette and general on-site procedures. An APS crew lead will be the liaison between onsite department leads and responsible for APS crew attendance, breaks, and lunches, relaying information, specific crew member contact, location, and/or identification. May also assist in expediting last-minute/ on-site schedule changes.

GENERAL AUDIO VISUAL

Possesses over 6 months of AV event industry experience and a moderate level of AV knowledge with formal training. Trained in professional etiquette and general on-site procedures. Expected tasks are, but not limited to: proper screen building/ disassembling, Pipe & drape, truss building, heavy lifting, heavy cable management, (set/ stikes), safe & proper truck loading/ unloading, box pushing, equipment and cable familiarity, proper cable management, communication skills, customer focused, proper work attire, accountability, good at following directions and can work autonomously as needed.

SCENIC/CARPENTRY

As little as entry level AV event industry experience but more than 6 months in Scenic/Carpentry industry experience. Has a basic to intermediate level of knowledge/experience with taking measurements, reading blueprints & diagrams, written instructions, scenic item assembly/disassembly and safe usage of tools. These technicians poses professional etiquette, and usually works best under direct guidance & leadership. Expected task are but not limited to: Scenic building/ disassembling, pipe & drape, truss building, heavy lifting, usage of power tools, stage movements, safe & proper truck loading/ unloading, equipment and cable familiarity, proper cable management, communication skills, customer interaction, proper work attire, accountability, and good at taking directions.

STAGEHAND

Possesses less than 2 years of AV event industry experience but more than 6 months. Has a basic level of knowledge with formal training, professional etiquette, and usually works best under direct guidance & leadership. Expected task are but not limited to: proper screen building/ disassembling, pipe & drape, truss building, heavy lifting, heavy cable management, (set/ stikes), safe & proper truck loading/ unloading equipment and cable familiarity, proper cable management, communication skills, customer focused, proper work attire, accountability, and good at taking directions.

LOADER/PUSHER

6 months or less of AV event industry experience. Has a basic level of knowledge with formal training, and professional etiquette, and requires direct guidance & leadership. Expected task are but not limited to: pipe & drape, truss building, heavy lifting, heavy cable management, (set/ stikes), stage building, scenic/ carpentry, safe & proper truck loading/ unloading, box pushing, proper cable management, communication skills, customer focused, proper work attire and accountability. Works best under direct supervision.

EQUIPMENT

PICK-UP/DELIVERY

Responsible for timely pick-up and delivery of audiovisual equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing excellent customer service. Should possess a valid driver's license, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
